For Blog and Social tracking, Kompyte detects the engagement for each article / post. Engagement means the amount of times an article / post has been commented, shared, liked, retweeted, ...

Once Kompyte has this amount of engagements, Kompyte calculates an average performance per competitor per channel (channel means Blog, Facebook, Twitter, ...)

And then Kompyte compares each article / post performance (amount of engagement) with the channel average, so we get the Impact.

  • An Impact lower than 1x means the article / post is performing below the average.
  • An Impact equal to 1x means the article / post is performing on the average.
  • An Impact greater than 1x means the article / post is performing above the average, so better than the other ones

When it comes to Social impact, an Impact above 5x normally means the post has been promoted.
