Kompyte already turns what could be hours of manual competitive intelligence into minutes. But you can also configure automated alerts to notify you of the most crucial updates such as competitor promotions, new product releases, pricing changes, new AdWord campaigns and more.

Below we have provided a description of alerts and the steps for configuring a new alert.

To configure a new alert, click the Alerts icon in the top-right corner of the screen, then the 'Configuration' tab. You'll see some set options that you can use, including Mentions which is already activated.

Remember how you can @mention a teammate in the notes you write on key updates? When you do this Kompyte sends an auto-email to the teammate with a link to the specific update. That's an alert that's already set up, and it's the easiest way to keep your team in the loop.

Now let's click 'Create a new alert' to build your own alert.

What do you want to be notified about in real time? New competitors on the scene? Pricing changes? Product announcements? Blog or social posts with high engagement? There are so many options here, just choose the features that matter most to you.

For example, to be alerted of competitor's pricing change, choose Web updates labeled as 'pricing' and select the competitors. Now choose the integration: Email, Slack or Trello. For more info on Kompyte integrations, click here.

Give your alert a title, click 'Save this alert', and boom - you're done!  You'll now receive automatic alerts every time we detect the the changes you care most about.
